So Much for Heart Trouble

A day in the life of an old boy with a dodgey ticker!!

Up before 7am

Feed cats and deliver tea to wife

Drink 2 cups of tea and commune with newspaper

Eat Healthy Breakfast

Ablute

Do chores - like emptying dishwasher etc.

Out before 9am to mix herbicide and spray all hard surfaces

Stop for quick coffee break

Search barn for trusted Billhook. (Family heirloom inherited from father-in-law who always referred to it as his Billook. A diversionary search on the web showed that in fact there are at least 12 versions one of which is indeed a billook. We had always thought it was a a made up "family word". It just goes to show.....)

Using billook cut back all sprouting twigs and branches down the alley to leave clear view (no mean task)

Crawl back to house for 2 beers (not even supposed to have one with heart condition).

Suitably lubricated was able to enjoy lunch

Gathered all branches and debris from the barn for a bonfire at the far end of the alley.

Crawled back to house at 6.30 for more lubrication and a shower

Working on computer doing I know not what to do with his hobby!!

NOT BAD FOR AN OL'  BOY WITH A HEART THAT IS ONLY WORKING AT 33%
ps I hope you don't believe everything she writes ... it was just another day at the funny farm.  At least I wasn't mowing!
