Working with a Will

The weather gradually improved during the course of the day and our builders (5 of them!) got on amazingly well today. They started off by taking the rest of the tiles off of the roof and then set about levelling the joists. This was followed by a waterproof membrane.

By the end of the day they'd put about three quarters of the lathes on ready for the tiles!

Meanwhile, Sue and I continued with our apprenticeships in stone and plasterboard jointing! But we are pleased that the first bedroom is beginning to actually look like a proper room.
