Snowed In

We were scheduled to go off to friends near Montauban, about an hour south of us. We got ourselves ready before we took Yoda for a walk.





As you can see, it was just trying to snow. By the time we got back, it really was snowing.

We duly loaded up the car and set off to pick up Sue and Jon, our friends who live the other side of our hill. We turned off the main road to go up to their house just before a queue of lorries and cars who appeared to be unable to get up a hill. Having got to Sue and Jon's it was heavy snow falling and so, discretion being the better part of valour, we phoned our Montauban friends and called off the trip.

We crept back home and arrived to see a large fox crossing the back garden!

After a couple of hours it stopped snowing and then the sun came out. There might be a problem in the morning because I expect that it will freeze overnight and then it could be really slippery!
