Summertime Blues

At the beginning of the week we showed you photos of the red roses on the front wall of the house.

But today the roses couldn't take any more.

Temperatures in excess of 40 deg C and so it must have been more like 45 - 50 against the stone walls.  It will be the same again tomorrow and no rain is forecast for the next fortnight at least!

At least we had a lovely Spring garden.
