Love is in the Air

 The wildlife is convinced that Spring has arrived ... and to prove it our kestrels have returned and reclaimed residence in the hole in the wall of the house. Whilst the female is presumably laying eggs in the nest, the pair can be seen on the roof of our barn behind the house ...

... or at the top of the old Ash tree at the beginning of the alley.

Let's hope that they have a successful season without any interruptions from other kestrels!
