Roofed!

Thursday was another day of feverish activity with tiles almost flying on! By the end of the day, the first of our '4' sides of roof was almost completed.

Meanwhile, I continued preparing the plasterboard in the bedroom. I'm pleased that we've now got 2 rooms ready for the plumber to install the underfloor heating; he says that he will begin about April 28th, as long as the patio doors in the passage are fitted. Got to chase the window men now.



During the course of the afternoon, I went in search of moral support and found Sue playing with her manure. There's nothing like a good delve in your compost heap.





Whilst I was out in the garden I went to check on the Silver Birch copse. 4 of the trees are bursting into leaf, but 1 is struggling. We will watch closely!
