All Wrapped Up.

Monday saw the builders take all of the roof tiles from the second side of our roof. They left it covered with sheets of plastic and tarpaulins. Then Tuesday and Wednesday it rained at the start of the day, so the builders went off to another site.

Today, (Thursday), the builders returned, partly because they are running out of other jobs they can do! So they've been levelling up the joists, in between re-covering the roof everytime we had a sudden downpour. We've actually had a number of very heavy showers as well as a few flashes of lightening and claps of thunder. Cyrille has told me to phone him if there are any problems with the covers, although quite what he would be able to do by himself in the middle of the night....!!!
