The End of the Dream
Sue has started her chemotherapy but, at the moment, she can't use her fingers and has no control in her feet. We look set for a long haul although the doctors are trying to set up 'hospitalisation a domicile' which in essence is to set up a replica of her hospital room but at home. Sue will feel a lot more comfortable with this arrangement ( but I'll be dashing around at her 'beck and call'!!!)
I foresee little time to press on rapidly with the house, particularly with my current health problems. And the garden will need a major re-think to try to convert it to 'easy maintenance'. You can see now why I called this piece 'The End of the Dream'.
I will keep on posting as and when anything major occurs but our original dream will have to be drastically revised.
So ..... thank you all for following us in our mad adventure; those of you we know or those of you who we've never met. I hope that you all get the chance to live your own dream.
Sue and John

Dear Sue and John
I think your positive outlook and relentless energy to complete the project has been quite astounding. Not everyone gets his/her dream but what you've created - so far - in the Lot is closer than most.
Matthew, Jessie and Oliver.
It hass been a privilege to follow your dream with you so far, John and Sue, and I hope it will continue for you, even if changed by circumstances. I hope Sue will be come home very soon.
Dear Sue and John
We've always been amazed by your pioneering spirit and the way you've had the courage to do what most (probably including us) would never dare.
Thinking of you.
Tom, Claire, Amelie and Freya
