Sun Shines on the Righteous

What a lovely day! And the forecast is for at least 10 days of good weather.

Although even when the sun shines it still looks like a building site outside of our house.

We had 3 workmen here today and they've made a significant inroad into the wall which they're building for the stairs.

It should take them until about the end of next week to finish the wall. I don't know if they will do the window in the bedroom as well, but we'll see. In the meantime, my materials will be delivered on Monday, so that is when we'll start in earnest. Fortunately, Patrick, one of the workmen, is an expert dry-liner (fitting plasterboard) and so I'm hoping that our Christmas present of a bottle of pastis will make him inclined to giving me advice!
