Dose of Culture

We were lucky to have friends invite us to the opening evening of an art exhibition at Montauban yesterday.  It wasn't too big and, amongst a variety of styles, there were a number of paintings which appealed to us.

This was one of the paintings on display but the photo doesn't do it justice.  We're now planing on on going to another exhibition he's holding in June!

Afterwards we all went for something to eat.  We went to a small restaurant in the middle of Montauban (only 40 odd covers) and had a wonderfull meal!!!!  A lovely evening of doing normal things which is encouraging after our recent traumas.

Nature Watch update :-  when we got home from Montauban sometime after 11, the nightingale was singing to welcome us.
