No Time for Christmas

Our workman finished putting up our walls on Saturday 26th.

We should now be pressing on with painting etc. but I've got to go off for 3 weeks for 'Re-education du Coeur', or Heart Training. I think what is involved is 3 weeks of physical training including work on the exercise bike, running on a tread-mill and long walks outside in the countryside. I imagine that the idea is to see how good (or bad) my heart can be so that a decision can be made in January if I really do need a heart transplant.

So, I won't be able to think about Christmas till the 22nd!!!

Christmas decorations won't be fancy this year!

Getting Joined Up

We're very pleased with the progress in the salon; our man has put up all of the plasterboard and is now jointing. He should be finished by the end of the next week (Friday 25th).

The weather has been good lately and so the grass has started to grow again. My neighbour Fred kindly cut the back field for us before it got too long!

I'm hoping that I might be able to do a bit more in the garden; Sue is slowly regaining movement in her arms and legs ... and her fingers. Once she feels comfortable being left I can perhaps garden for say an hour? Who knows how we'll be by Spring!!??

We Got Walls!

The Dry-liner man (and his wife!) are progressing well and already, the room feels different. It also feels warmer, although I'm sure that this is psychological.

Once the room is all painted white it's going to feel HUGE!
