Oh ME Of Little Faith

 We have at last had some very welcome rain. Initially a fortnight ago when we had a couple of storms which really soaked the ground followed by the odd top up since. However in between the temperatures have still been high.

 The following photos show the current situation.......the bad and the good.

Even The Wedding Cake is surviving.

During the drought I felt so sorry for the birds that I put out an old foil tray for them to drink from and have a bath. It was such a hit that we decided to install something permanent and a bit more elegant!! So the Under Gardener set to work.

After a morning's excavation......hey presto

.......and by 5.30pm our first customer had arrived.....
